EVITA SUITE (Presidential)
The Evita Presidential Suite is named in honor of Eva Duarte de Perón, because she has lived in in this property from 1942 to 1944.
"Who knows, perhaps within the walls of that apartment, now a suite in a luxurious hotel, the personality of the best-known Evita, a pioneer of feminism in Argentina, was born, thanks to which women were able to vote in the elections of 1951" (fuente: La Nación – Diario).
Jose Maria Lafuente, when he bought the building in 2004, was unaware of this information, knowing it led him to really investigate this episode of Evita's secret life. And He tell it in a book between personal research and historical novel, about one of the most emblematic characters in Argentine history: "EVITA, in the Golden Home". This suite is the highest category of the hotel, with it´s 50 m2 and an excellent view to the emblematic Posadas St. The first private space is the sleeping area with a large and comfortable King Size bed and a fully equipped bathroom with double shower in a glass cabin
The second space is a large living room with a 65´ Smart TV that makes it an ideal place to work, leisure and rest.
In addition to this, there is also a showcase that exhibit different objects used by Evita during her lifetime.
